Networking With Industry Leaders At New Congress
Networking with industry leaders at new congress
Brompton Laundry director Fiona Howie enjoyed networking with industry leaders at the first-ever Textile Services Association (TSA) congress this week.
One of the few women among the 70 delegates who attended, she made the most of the opportunity to share experiences and learn from other chief executives and owners.
The new event was aimed at all levels of TSA members and involved discussion and debate about industry issues and updates on TSA news. Open to premium supply partners, business owners, and laundry directors, the gathering included presentations of high-quality papers on various themes, with experts from as far afield as America taking part.
Matthew Syed, the BBC radio presenter and a former No 1 table tennis player who has appeared at the Olympic Games, delivered a fascinating keynote speech on the importance of a growth mindset within a team.
Fiona said: “It was a great opportunity to interact with the key players in the industry and learn what others are doing, especially at a time when we are growing our client base. These events are always valuable and ensure we remain at the forefront of the industry.”
